Eleni Kontaxi is a graduate of the School of Philosophy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Department of Philology (specialization: Medieval and Modern Philology), and a doctor of the University of Thessaly (Department of Preschool Education). She has attended undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Modern Greek Philology and History at Birmingham University in the United Kingdom as part of the European Erasmus / Lingua II program. During her undergraduate studies she was a scholarship holder of the legacy of Kimon Pantazopoulos and during her postgraduate studies she was a scholarship holder of the European Program "Heraclitus: Research Scholarships with priority in basic research". Her research interests focus on the literature of the Greek Diaspora, on the children's and adolescent literature of Greece and Europe, as well as on issues of the Modern Greek language and the writing of an academic text. She teaches courses on the aforementioned topics. Since 2014 he has been working at the Pedagogical Department of Preschool Education as an EDIP, having taught and co-taught the following academic courses of the Department: "European Children's Literature", "Introduction to Children's Literature", "Mathematics and Literature", "Hellenic Tutoring" "Written Academic Speech I" and "Written Academic Speech II". She has participated in scientific conferences with presentations and has written and published scientific papers. She also participates in European research projects. She has been a collaborator of the Laboratory of Language and Culture of the University of Thessaly since 2000.
