Dr. Katifenia Chatzopoulou holds a Preschool Education Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Preschool Education of the University of Thessaly (1999). In 2014 she obtained her Phd in Educational Sciences from the Faculty of Preschool Education of the University of Thessaly. She has worked as administrative staff and as a scientific collaborator in the Preschool Education Department at the University of Thessaly (2001-2015). Since 2015 she works as a Laboratory Teaching Staff at the Department of Early Childhood Education of the University of Thessaly (subject: “Applied Preschool Pedagogy”). Her interests involve teachers’ education, mentoring in teacher education, initial teachers’ training, educational environments in preschool and primary school age, etc. She has participated in research projects and has published papers in conference proceedings, journals and edited volumes.
