«Drama in Education- Drama Therapy-Theatre Studies», KEDIVIM, University of the Aegean, Program “Art Therapy- Art therapy with emphasis on the visual arts”, Martha Katsaridou (Member of the instructors) Τhe main objectives of the annual training program (436 hours), include the introduction of the participants to the concepts and the history of Art Therapy, the exploration of principles, methods and techniques for the use of Art as Therapy in theory and practice, with special emphasis on visual arts. The objectives of the teaching unit “Drama in Education, Drama Therapy, Theatre Studies” include the introduction of the participants to Theatre Studies and Applied Theatre/ Drama and its use in order to support change in education, change in the individual and in society. Respectively, the research areas that are approached are: Theatre/Drama in Education, Drama Therapy and Theatre of the Oppressed.
