Purpose: The investigation of general factors in the design of activities for Visual Arts in education.
Aims: Development of observation and Imagination: two factors that contribute crucially to visual expression. And also the Theoretical and Practical training of students in everything that might concern the manipulation and organising of visual creation activities, both generally and specifically at pre-school ages.
Description: The course mainly aims at the development of the students as future educators at pre-school ages. More specifically  by activating the power of observation and imagination, the students are able to approach specific materials and techniques in the art of drawing and thus discover the formal visual elements  leading them to symbolic, realistic and emotional  visual representations. The values of nature and visual arts are investigated, evaluated and judged as elements necessary to the life of a human. All sessions are completed with implementations and evaluations of teaching activities and strategies involving specific examples of concepts and phenomena of visual creation.
Evaluation: Students are mandatorily evaluated through the activities applied in every meeting of the course and through written examinations at the end of the semester. Students can also work on selected projects of investigation.
