Αναλυτικό Βιογραφικό Σημείωμα: 

Η Άννα Χρονάκη εργάζεται στο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλίας από το 2001. Έχει αποφοιτήσει από το Μαθηματικό Τμήμα του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών και έχει εκπονήσει μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στην Αγγλία με υποστροφίες από το ΙΚΥ και το Esther Parkin Trust. Στις μεταπτυχιακές της σπουδές εστίασε στην Μαθηματική Εκπαίδευση (MEd & PhD, University of Bath, UK) μελετώντας τη παιδαγωγική και διδακτική σχέση των μαθηματικών με περιβάλλοντα τέχνης, τεχνολογίας και δραματοποίησης. Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα εστιάζουν σε φιλοσοφικές, ανθρωπολογικές και κοινωνικοπολιτισμικές προσεγγίσεις για την ερμηνεία της μαθηματικής σκέψης στην παιδική ηλικία, την σχεδίαση πλαισίων δράσης, την διεπιστημονική επαφή επιστήμης και τεχνών, την κατανόηση μορφών τεχνομαθηματικού γραμματισμού σε ποικίλες εκφάνσεις της βιοπολιτικής και την μελέτη της έμφυλης διάστασης της γνώσης. Το έργο της έχει δημοσιευθεί σε διεθνή και ελληνικά επιστημονικά περιοδικά, συλλογικούς τόμους και πρακτικά συνεδρίων. Έχει επιμεληθεί δύο βιβλία, εκ των οποίων το πρώτο με θέμα 'Challenging Perspectives in Mathematics Communication' έχει εκδοθεί το 2005 από τον οίκο IAP (Information Age Publishing Inc. USA), ενώ το δεύτερο με θέμα ‘Mathematics, Technologies, Education: The gender perspective’ εκδόθηκε το 2008 από τις Εκδόσεις του Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε σημαντικό αριθμό ερευνητικών προγραμμάτων και έχει διατελέσει επιστημονική υπεύθυνος σε ορισμένα από αυτά. Είναι μέλος της διεθνούς κοινότητας 'Mathematics, Education and Society' καθώς και των ερευνητικών δικτύων για Mathematics & Language, CERME και Diversity & Mathematics Education, CERME. Από το 2015 μέχρι σήμερα διδάσκει στο Malmö University ως επισκέπτρια καθηγήτρια συμβάλοντας σε συμβουλευτικές επιτροπές διδακτορικών σπουδών. Είναι υπεύθυνη της εργαστηριακής μονάδας LeTME: Learning Teachnologies and Mathematics Education.
