Curriculum Vitae: 

Dr. Magda Vitsou holds a Bachelor' s degree in Preschool Education from the Department of Preschool Education of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (1996), a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Education from Faculty of Early Childhood Education, Postgraduate Programme “Educational Sciences: Creative Educational Environments and Playing”(2007). In 2016 she obtained her Doctoral degree in Theatre Pedagogy from the Department of Theatre Studies of the University of Peloponnese. She has majored in "Puppetry in education and art therapy", in London School of Puppetry and she has been certified in the development of levels of certification of the knowledge of Greek language as foreign / second.  She has worked as a preschool teacher in Greek public schools (2002-2019) and as a scientific collaborator in Preschool Education students at the University of Thessaly. Since 2019 she works as a Laboratory Teaching Staff at the Department of Early Childhood Education of the University of Thessaly (subject: “Applied Preschool Pedagogy in Practicum”). Her scientific interests and publications focus on issues of Drama in Education, puppetry, bilingualism and social life of minority groups. She has contributed to several research projects related to drama in education and school inclusion of students from minority background.
