Academic Writing II

Course description

The aim of the course is, with the successful completion of the course, the students to become familiar with the production of written academic speech, to be able to correctly structure simple scientific and more specific texts, composing the integrated in terms of structure and organization of its units scientific text, documentation of the arguments and correct utilization of the bibliographic sources, correct recording, special vocabulary. Also, to be able to compile a complete scientific work / article / study to be published respecting basic specifications and requirements (contents, preface, introduction, bibliography, appendix, indexes, etc.).

Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course, students are expected to:

• Knowledge and utilization of bibliographic systems

• Knowledge of search and proper utilization of bibliographic sources

• Understanding and knowledge of sections of the scientific text

• Ability to prepare integrated scientific works
