Ampatzidis Georgios
Georgios Ampatzidis is a graduate of the Biology Department of the University of Patras. He has completed postgraduate studies in Educational Sciences at the University of Patras and Creative Writing at the University of Western Macedonia and the Hellenic Open University. He holds a PhD from the University of Patras and has carried out post-doctoral research at the same University.
Georgios Ampatzidis has lectured until 2022 at the Hellenic Open University (School of Humanities and School of Social Sciences), the School of Pedagogical and Technological Education (Pedagogical Training Program), the University of Patras (Department of Chemistry), the University of Thessaly (Department of Primary Education and Department of Special Education), the University of Western Macedonia (Department of Primary Education) and the University of Ioannina (Department of Biological Applications and Technology). From 2022 he is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Preschool Education of the University of Thessaly (academic field: teaching and learning about nature and the environment).
The scientific work of Georgios Ampatzidis concerns a series of articles in peer-reviewed Greek and international journals, articles in peer-reviewed Greek and international conference proceedings and chapters in peer-reviewed Greek and international books. His research interests focus on science education, environmental education, the nature of science and the history of science.
