Our vision at the Department of Early Childhood Education is in agreement with the model of the reflective educator who is forward-looking and continuously involved in research, evaluation, innovation and planning, so that our graduates are able to respond responsibly and effectively to their complex educational and teaching role, and, also, deal successfully with potential future developments in their scientific and professional field. The Department adheres to the highest standards of academic rigour, enforces the connection between research, educational theory and practice, and encourages the development of a critical stance towards traditional educational theories and ideas.
