Dr Fotini Garagouni-Areou holds a Bachelor' s degree in Preschool Education from the Department of Preschool Education of the University of Thessaly (1999). In 2006 she obtained her Doctoral degree in Educational Technology from the Department of Primary Education of the University of Thessaly. From 2007 to 2017 she has worked as a preschool teacher in Greek public schools and as a trainer of undergraduate Preschool Education students at the University of Thessaly.  She works (since 2017) as a Laboratory Teaching Staff at the Department of Early Childhood Education (University of Thessaly). Her research interests focus on the use of technology in education, the training of future teachers, the promotion of health education, the design of educational programs for science and health, etc. Indicative publications are presented below:
