The Program was implemented by the Descourse and Culture Laboratory of P.D.P.E with students’ and teachers’ participation from all levels of education. The main aim was to conduct a research study to investigate the children’s and adolescents’ perceptions about delinquency and to examine their ability to stand critically against the ideological content of literature books that outline a similar topic.

The aim of the research study was to investigate whether literature books on delinquency contribute to the differentiation of initial perceptions and development of children’s and adolescents’ critical thinking. It was found that children of all ages disapproved of delinquent behavior, managed to discover the consequences of the actions of the heroes of the illustrated books, revised their initial perceptions by activating the skills of reasoning, memory and critical thinking.
